With the Gastwerk Hotel Hamburg Kai Hollmann has established a successful niche product. The hotel quickly secured its position at the head of the Hamburg hotel business and has introduced trends internationally as a loft hotel. Scarcely three years after its opening, Kai Hollmann already had to expand his Gastwerk Hotel by 33 rooms. And the next investment is already being thought about. In autumn, a further hotel is to be opened on the site of the former Altona gasworks. It is to be called „25 hours“ and is expected to be unique in its positioning. His reward for so much commitment: the periodical „NGZ - Der Hotelier“ has now awarded Kai Hollmann the much sought-after title „Hotelier of the Year“.
